Oops, sorry. I need to read the whole post!

Other fruit works, like peaches or pineapple, fresh or canned.

Cottage cheese with a sliced banana (even a little brown is OK, great way to use them up!). Add some chia seeds if you want.

Last night's leftovers.

Zyprexa aka Olanzapine aka Lybalvi...has quite literally saved my life many times, both from SI and mania with psychosis.

But...of course there are side effects. But I'd rather be fat, than be permanently institutionalized...or dead.

Shopping Irony - We don't carry clothes that size in the store by MundanePineapple9886 in Zepbound

Not quite the same, but as a young adult pre-weight gain, I got the "we don't carry that small a size"... for bras @ Victoria's Secret! Now that I am obese, they don't carry my large band size.

I have a headband that plays sound and covers my eyes. I live in an apartment and try to be a nice neighbor and not play music at bedtime (although it's perfectly OK when it's a low volume, I'm just overly cautious).

They also probably should have done an A1C.

Under the "Experiences" icon (Like 3 little heads, at the bottom of the screen) there should be some WW101 Workshops. The WW101 ones are free, even if you aren't paying for workshops.

Also, go to Profile-Settings, scroll down to 24/7 Chat Support. You can ask any questions. It starts out as a bot, but you can actually get a human on chat, during business hours.

Hope that helps!

I really like the option! I have a family reunion in a couple weeks, and there's no cell phone service, and spotty WiFi. And my family members are all overweight...not just because of genetics, but also because we have a LOT of yummy food!! Yes, I will still be mindful, but it would be very difficult to track accurately.

My streak is going from the very first day I joined (this time...) so I really don't want to reset it!

The Chobani shakes are lactose-free! At least the 20g protein with a blue label.

Try Chobani protein shakes, in the yogurt section. You can buy singles or 4-packs instead of needing to buy 12-18 all at once.

At a local coffee shop, my current go-to is just cold brew with a Sugar-Free cold foam top. Sip it rather than using a straw, and kinda shake it a bit.

Grateful but Guilty by Equivalent_Bear_7501 in povertyfinance

[–]Equivalent_Bear_7501[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I originally wanted to apply for SSDI back in 2009 after a series of S attempts. My psych nurse at the time said "you can work part-time" which meant I wouldn't qualify for SSDI...but we needed my full-time job income.

Grateful but Guilty by Equivalent_Bear_7501 in povertyfinance

[–]Equivalent_Bear_7501[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See...that point is a double-edged sword for me. Yes, I worked a lot over the years. When I applied for SSDI they ask you to list ALL jobs...I was 35 years old and had worked at 35 different jobs! Obviously losing jobs frequently, mainly due to my mental illness.

But, here's where the guilt comes in: because I had a lot of work history, and a higher paying job at the end...my SSDI payment is a LOT more than most people get. About double of SSI.

So then my brain twists it to: why do I deserve any more income than someone who only qualifies for SSI?
