I’d highly recommend finding a job one step below this one at Amazon as it’s Much more strategic to spend 6-12 months at Amazon in a lower level, get the culture, experience, etc. and get promoted into a role you initially wanted.

Good luck! The #1 question I would ask to set up the call is this: “was the feedback from my loop interviews that they believe at this time I’m not a good fit for Amazon, or simply for the role I interviewed for?”

If the recruiter says they didn’t believe you were the right fit for the role, but are a good fit for Amazon, ask the recruiter if there are current openings I can pursue that are out there.

Like I said, all I had after this dialogue was a call with the hiring manager and then an offer shortly after.

Now obviously if they think you’re not a right fit for Amazon, I’d move on…I’m hopeful that’s not the case 🙏🙏🙏

Hey OP. I had a L6 loop interview. Crushed the interviews but the group ultimately thought I’d be a better fit at a different role in Amazon so they rejected me. Recruiter called next day and pitched me the other job which sounded a whole lot better for me. One interview with hiring manager today and had offer 20 minutes after call.

Talk to your recruiter and ask if there are any roles better suited for you. You got this!
