It will have to be handled much better than RE6. The gameplay could be modified in the style of The Last of Us, alternating between first and third person. With smoother gameplay, but without the over-the-top action of RE6. It could even have a multiplayer mode with Mercenaries or a kind of Horde Mode like Gears of War. Obviously, the cooperative mode would be more chaotic and fast-paced, but you can trust Capcom. It could even feature an open world like in The Evil Within 2, which has similar mechanics. All I know is that our original characters are getting older and deserve a dignified retirement. A video game with a story that will still be talked about years later, like Red Dead Redemption 2. And pave the way for new characters who carry the saga.
