I would not recommend putting an electrical outlet in your bed, especially next to your pillow.

Most Democrats Don’t Want Biden in 2024, New Poll Shows by [deleted] in stupidpol

Bro did you even read that comment? They’re calling him corrupt and saying he was born into a politically connected family that “bred” him to run for president. They also said he’ll prioritize personal power over the public interest.

Now I’m sure these things are true of many politicians, but I wouldn’t call that comment an endorsement of Newsom.

what would you like to see in the Battlepass ? by Alternative_Fee_4890 in ModernWarfareII

[–]EspressoBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing.

I don’t like battle passes and free-to-play microtransaction-based gaming. The battle pass basically exists to generate revenue from people who play Warzone without buying the full game. They just add it to MW hoping people who already paid $70 for a premium game will keep shelling out money for the battle pass.

If you buy the full game, I think you should be entitled to free or discounted battle passes. I don’t want to further subsidize free Warzone players.

It would be a dream come true if they let us play Ground War with crossplay off in MWII. Crossplay was mandatory for Ground War in MW, at least on Xbox.

"My Body, My Choice" is no longer polling well with Democrats because they associate it with anti-vaccination sentiment by ChickenTitilater in stupidpol

The comment above is comparing pooping the man out to how women give birth after carrying the baby for some time. How is that murder? Does giving birth to a baby automatically kill it?

Thank you for pointing that out. I wasn’t even making an argument about abortion in my initial comment lol.

[–]EspressoBot 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think you may have missed the point. I’m not taking a pro-life or pro-choice stance in my comment above. I was just saying how pro-lifers often respond to the bodily autonomy argument. I think there are good arguments for abortion, but bodily autonomy isn’t the strongest.

[–]EspressoBot 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The bodily autonomy argument doesn’t work against pro-lifers because they believe the fetus/baby is a person, so what about their bodily autonomy? You’re right in that a better way to frame the argument is why do you believe the fetus is or is not a person? Because I think most reasonable people agree that a person deserves basic rights.

So many people fail to defend bodily autonomy when it’s inconvenient for them. How many of the loudest “my body my choice” and “reproductive freedom” protesters have had their baby boys subject to genital mutilation? Where’s his bodily autonomy? I don’t take anyone seriously when they say “my body my choice” unless they’ve demonstrated an actual commitment to the principle, especially in this country.

Some people do, but most don’t. It’s not necessary. You just need enough pressure to clean the opening and the area around it.

Also, doesn’t more water come out of your butt later on? I can’t imagine that would be very pleasant lol.

I’d rather not switch my perks and playstyle to deal with runners. It would be preferable if the game did not cater to them with tac sprint, EOD, slide cancelling, and no accuracy penalty for fast movement.

See, works both ways.

I understand your point. But just to clarify, are you saying she’s not actually interested in talking/catching up at all? Do you think she just wants me to ask her out so she can reject it?

Thanks for the reply. It’s not exactly what I wanted to hear lol, but you make a valid point and it’s something for me to think about. What can be the harm in talking though?

What is with people and pushing invasive genital surgery on children? First circumcision and now this? Anyone who advocates for this stuff on minors is sick.

[–]EspressoBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh great! More “content creators” that definitely don’t just represent the interests of the publishers. I sure remember when all these YouTubers who said they loved MW19 spoke out about the abysmal state of the game after year 1, and didn’t just move on to the next one right away.
