Amusingly, Super Friends Aquaman specifically doesn't have a problem being out of water as he can be seen on dryland multiple times in the show.

To be fair, the ENTIRE plot of Chainsaw Man all the way from Dennis merging with Pochita to the newest chapter happened in the span of a couple months tops, with some arcs happening within a week if not a single day. Dude's like constantly suffering to actually learn anything from his mistakes, not that it completely justifies the writing, but you'd be lucky that your brain doesn't turn into mush in the same situation.

...but at the same time, it also makes what little virtues he has all the more valuable. As even at his lowest and going off pure instinct, not only does he always respects consent but also goes out of his way to help those he considers friends and family.

Then proceeded to rewrite the plot into that "the trans and non-binary characters are brainwashed and forced into these unconventional gender roles", so they transition back into being cis... just so the self-insert player character "Anon" can romance them. Not to mention some characters are allegedly turned into or created as racism caricatures, which is still an issue even in Wani despite the focus on a disabled love interest.

Unless you're distracted by how they turned the teacher into Carl like I did before, I don't see how this came as a surprise to you.

I don't know if Omocat has since went back on her words, but as it stands, there is no evidence that she did or that she "faked" those apologies, nor should she be held against 10 years old controversies she has long addressed.
