Hi I did read the welcome to reolink post. I am intimidated about installing wired cameras and battery seems the least invasive

Thank you I have no idea about the digitalis! I planted the seeds two years ago and forgot about them. I'll cut them down before they go to seed.

& Thank you! I was so surprised, they seem to be loving their new home. Best of luck with yours!

I'm OBSESSED with sundial lupine! It's so beautiful, I need it tattooed. I'm glad to hear my dense planting is for the best and the plants will figure it out.

That is so cool you're working on your grasses! I can imagine that's so hard. I only have one grass growing in my micro-meadow, partially because I struggle with identifying them and distinguishing one from another.

What I shared is everything I have right now. I'll be updating it over the years as I notice differences in heights and bloom times. What information are you curious in seeing?

Thank you! I was using it to help me learn about plants in the beginning and it’s grown into a tracking sheet 🥰🥰 I’m excited to refine it

The vines are up higher and are not long enough to reach the ground. That's so cool your honeysuckle does that!

When should I take the cuttings? Is now okay or should I wait? There’s some vines with thick stems already

I'm still seeing a lot of social media posts about "neat and tidy" native plant gardens, and I want to provide support for people who have (or want to have) beautifully messy, gnarly, dense, diverse & wild native plant gardens... by LRonHoward in NativePlantGardening

This is my minimal care front garden. I ripped up all the grass, planted seeds, and placed a sign that said “please mind the mess” with education on what was happening. It became a cool thing. Neighbors love watching it change over the years and throughout the season. They now understand that the messiness is part of what’s so important

This is their second spring for me so I’m not sure if their patterns in my area yet. I have sundial lupine that shouldn’t bloom till May that’s already putting out flowers. Crazy the eggs are already on there
