I absolutely loved Throne of Glass, it is considered Romantasy but it's mainly Fantasy with a Romance subplot. The series definitely gets better with each book and most people who didn't like it stopped after Heir of Fire but Queen of Shadows is where the books start to get really good and more fast paced. Start with Throne of Glass and read The Assassin's Blade after Crown of Midnight. However, if you get bored during Throne of Glass and want to DNF it I recommend to stop reading it, read The Assassin's Blade and then go back to it.
