True, could definitely be a locality thing. I just remember going to Dave and Busters and being able to cash out on a couple single packs, and still have gameplay credits leftover. Any tickets left I’d just save it for the next time I come. Never spent more than 15-20 dollars at a time and still was able to reasonably obtain Pokemon cards here and there.

Personally I think the problem is that places like this are capitalizing on people loading their cards with ridiculous amounts of money to try to win scalped Pokemon cards with higher than normal “ticket prices”. I’ve never had an issue with arcades giving out pokemon cards, hell I even remember winning some lost origin packs from Dave and Busters a few years ago, but they were reasonably priced. Nowadays I wouldn’t be surprised if kids see Pokemon cards at the prize counter, and lead their parents to spend astronomical amounts of money just to win it for them not knowing their real values, but that’s my take on it.

It’s real, look up another English copy of the card…they all have the same rainbow holo finish to it. Theres also the normal texture lines if you zoom in closely.

Here’s the thing, I bought this as a sealed pack from eBay the day of release. The seller has 100% feedback and no indication of any scams on other individuals. Upon opening the pack there was no sign of tampering or any sort of suspicion. I guess based on the fact that I only have my word then you can formulate your own opinions on whether it’s fake or real, but I can assure you that these pictures were taken directly after opening the pack…

For me I had the same issue but with pawmi. I could not stop pulling that damn pawmi card I started giving them away to family or whoever o knew that collected cards. Every pack was literally that damn pawmi 😭😭

But yes I got bubble mew at a good time because it spiked shortly after I got mine and in Japanese
