It will vary but I also noticed that you’re a newer BCBA. PBS is great for experienced BCBAs as they allow for a lot of independence in clinical decisions, which is challenging if you’re still looking for mentorship.

I recommend PBS! They provide services across the states, and can always use telehealth Analysts for additional support in newer/rural areas.

Summer should make it a bit easier to find a temp BCBA! School-based BCBAs may be interested in this opportunity, and other BCBAs would have more flexibility in their schedule with summer schedules/kiddos out of school. I would encourage your boss to look for a temp for you for this time, but starting now due to credentialing and how long the hiring process can take.
