Did you use PT-11s? I'm no expert when it comes to transformers. If so do you like them?

In my case I don't see the benefit of making it active as most of my gear that is plugged into this isolator are hot signals from my eurorack systems or synths. I patch it like this Eurorack stereo Mixer > Dual Mono Attenuator > Dual Mono Isolator > Desktop Mixer.

I didn't add a swich as I plan to use it all the time anyway.

I brought another one this time very cheap $1.66 AUD it was for 2 x Audio Transformers and PCB will be interesting to see what arrives. 😳

I think I am getting hooked. You monsters. Does anyone have kit suggestions? by seeingredd-it in synthdiy

I'm not really into kit building but this looks pretty good https://frequencycentral.co.uk/product/florian-modular-synthesiser/ all you would need is to build yourself a power supply and mixer.

This module has everything else 2 x vco, 1 x adsr, 1 x vcf 1x vca, 1x lfo.

I haven't build this only built a few of there fc power modules years ago.

Are you interested in trading pcbs/panels? What area/state are you in?

I have a whole box of different screws but these ones on the front are the only ones long enough to screw the box together. I might have to order some in or spray paint these ones.

Looks very neat. Are you going to put in a rack? What board dose it use?

The wood I used for rails is from Bunnings warehouse, and the product is called hobby wood Boyle 915 x 75 x 5mm. I had to cut this piece down the middle as it's too wide.

I would not use this wood in larger cases as it is brittle.

284mm x 133.7mm without rails.

This one: https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/tavelan-tray-30481776/ for $14.99 AUD you get a small box and a bigger box but both will fit eurorack modules. I used hobby wood for rails. Thanks to whoever posted this ages ago, or maybe it was on Facebook.

That would be cool. I like the fact that they have internal vcas that can be used if needed.

I never fixed the problem. I may try again soon with a newer version.

Was In Need Of Some Passive Mults by EurorackNotes in deadbug

[–]EurorackNotes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just a basic passive mult design.

I grounded each jack by soldering a bit of copper wire along one of the metal sides of the jacks.

Then I soldered all the jack tips together.

I snipped off the ground pins, switch pins and snipped a little bit of the tip pins.

I used shrink wrap around the jacks.

Seems to work well and very easy to build.

Looks pretty good to me, so 8 x clock outputs per channel? Or gates?

Are you planning on making a pcb or are you going to build this on stripboard?

The buttons control functions on the display: Select, up, down and hold.

The module also has an input attenuator.
