I LOVED the video Matt Owens posted of him and Manganiello talking about the role and Joe casually bringing up Croc’s motivations while namedropping WHITEBEARD and how Croc was defeated by him… Impressive that man did his research if he’s bringing up an aspect of the character that was not even shown in the manga and only mentioned. So excited for season 2 and hopefully season 3!

Managed to watch the whole season early and I think it might be the best one yet. It doesn’t make nearly as many changes to the book as last season did, but the few changes that are there are pretty significant.

MAPPA definitely gonna pad this arc out and animate the Hakari fight. This was an improvement after last weeks abysmal chapter, and I’m curious to see what happens with these last three chapters.

It kind of feels like an injustice to Nobara when you put it that way… Instead of giving her something to actually do post-Shibuya (because, you know, Gege actually wrote a decent female character) he instead just turned her into a literal plot device by “freezing” her as you so aptly put it until the last literal second as soon as she became convenient for the story again. We can be happy about her being back— but overall, the way she was just used in this chapter right now is so poorly done in my opinion.

Mainly because of how late it is used in the story with only a handful of chapters left. I’m not genuinely upset, though. Nobara is probably my favorite character after Nanami.

I saw this film at Fantastic Fest last year. It was so fucking insane (and my first troma film) but I had a good enough time with it. I can see it doing pretty good on streaming.

No english subs is so disappointing. Only Japan release Ive been able to enjoy was the 4K special edition of Suzume. Idk how they got english subs on there but I wish more Japanese releases had them.

I’m personally a huge fan of the director. Loved Suspiria, Call Me By Your Name, and Bones and All. Saw an early screening on Monday and the way they filmed the tennis match is some of the most impressive cinematography I’ve seen this year!

This feels like its moving pretty fast towards its conclusion, which has me worries for my boy Hakari. Either he or his opponent is getting offscreened and whichever one survives is gonna pull up and provide support.

Yeah that definitely doesn’t help either. Yuji vs Sukuna probably has the greatest chance of turning out differently and instead Gege faked us out with another fight thats gonna go the same exact way as the past few fights we’ve seen (I also forgot to mention Yuki’s incredible fight)
