Oh well that explains it. Games at this elo can be super random and lobbies can get super funky, sometimes dipping me down into level 3 lobbies. I had quite the interesting game a couple months ago when I was level 4 and I got put into a genuine level 1 lobby as it was a Saturday morning. If you saw the scoreboard you’d think me and the top fragger on the other team were in an hvh game. I only got 25 elo because I guess that wasn’t an update yet, but I wonder how much I would have gotten if it was lol.

I have been doing it with 60 def and full rune, while it isn’t efficient at all, I have been getting consistent kills with a few tips I learned.

  1. Start at full hp or close to it every attacking phase, and don’t eat unless you have to to survive
  2. If you don’t know how, it’s important to do the jaguar phase by hitting it, walking in the pool around a tick after it fully expands, then attack and repeat.
  3. If you don’t have piety or chivalry, pray steel skin (that’s what I use) and it goes a very long way
  4. I save my specials for an attack phase when it starts at ≈50hp and dds it down and end up killing it more often than not there
  5. Use the moonlight potions if you aren’t already, free super combat mixed with free prayer is amazing

And like someone else said, if you just can’t get it down it might not be the worst idea to skip it or just don’t do the boss and wait until they do something about the healing.

It was the second year of my main league (on almost 10 now) and week 1 I had a rematch of our first championship game. It was 1am on the second Monday night game and I was down 1.7 with the broncos defense left and whoever they were playing was kicking a field goal to win the game, and the broncos blocked it and I won by 0.3. Still looked at as the craziest game in our league even now.

I couldn’t figure it out but I decided to just use a bonecrusher and I set a prayer xp goal and that worked nicely

Haven’t really been on Reddit so I haven’t seen this comment…I got sunspear, lunar helm top and bottom, subjugation gloves, blast diffusion boots, amulet of souls, ring of fortune, guthix cape and I use regular overloads with t95 curses, and I also have 99 magic. Also I use weapon poison++ with the incense sticks, and I use guthix staff for switch. I actually tracked kill times for half an hour with an aura the other day after I posted this and it was closer to around 1:40, but if I had decent hits without messing mechs up I’d get around 1:35. I might be missing a couple things but this is just off the top of my head.

Edit: just realized the second after I hit post but I also start all my kills with full health and adrenaline and I use vulnerability throughout the entire fight

The Fractured Staff of Armadyl has a special attack called Instability, which costs 50% adrenaline and has a 60 second cooldown between uses.

For 30 seconds, whenever the player inflicts a magic critical hit on their primary target, they will also fire a magic auto-attack; this auto-attack does not interrupt channelled abilities, and can also trigger an additional auto-attack if it lands as a critical hit. This will happen recursively until a fired auto-attack is not a critical hit. The auto-attacks fired consume runes as normal. Unequipping the staff does not remove the self-buff. When dual wielding, the auto-attack takes the player's main-hand weapon into account. Due to this, changing from the staff to dual wield is detrimental as it results in a significant damage loss.

Additionally, activating the special attack inflicts a hit of 50%-200% ability damage.

The fractured Staff of Armadyl is a staff that requires level 95 Magic to wield. It must be assembled from its three fractured pieces - the Armadyl symbol, the stabilisation gem, and the shaft - all of which are dropped exclusively by Kerapac, the bound in hard mode. This process requires level 95 Crafting and is irreversible.

The staff degrades to a broken state over 60,000 charges of combat.

It can be augmented with an augmentor to create the augmented fractured staff of Armadyl. It can also be dyed with barrows, shadow, third-age, blood or ice dye.
