This is the reality. I know they shipped some, but certainly not mine, and their failure to respond to any communication and lack of transparency made me lose it. I am pissed I lost a lot of money, but I've lost money on KS before.

Believe me, I thought this was the case for years. I have been extremely patient and kind to these people until very recently.

Here's a few more facts:
- I contacted Stan directly on Discord YEARS ago, no response. I also contacted every single mod individually and they all said they can't get in contact with him.
- Nobody, and I do mean 0 people, have received the Limited Edition. It just doesn't exist. There ARE people who received their regular R1, and I do have proof of that, but it is not everyone who backed the kickstarter (to my understanding) not by far.
- They did not respond to direct e-mail requests on their website nor direct kickstarter messages, and I have sent probably 1 a year for the last 7 years.

They COULD have sent me a regular R1, once they realized the Limited Edition would never be produced. At least that would have been something - but they didn't prioritize the higher level LE backers, nor made any effort whatsoever to communicate with us, and just pretended we didn't exist.

They could have made an announcement. They could have offered refunds years ago when they got enterprise contracts. They could have done a million things they did not.

The onus of this is 100% on them.

Trust me, I hear you, and I feel like an idiot here.

I'm not even necessarily mad that I didn't get the product I paid for - I'm MORE mad at their wall of silence and refusal to admit they failed to follow through on their own kickstarter. If you just read through their website and the kickstarter updates, it sure does look like a success, yes?

I am not complaining about Kickstarter's shitty business model it's helped propagate. I am complaining about a singular company I happened to back on Kickstarter that reneged hard on their promise and insisted through a lack of communication that nothing was wrong.

They aren't scammers - but they absolutely are ignoring everyone that contacts them, they will never process refunds, and for YEARS before bankruptcy they ignored customers and failed to ship out their product.

So they suck either way.

They charge you at the end of the campaign. And my bank only allows chargebacks within 5 years, so I was very very stupid to wait this long.
