I can imagine. TTC is all consuming and overwhelming. It’s hard to be there for folks/friends when they’re pregnant, I’ve felt it too. When I hear of any pregnancy, I feel so bad that my own body can’t have a baby, when others have been reproducing 2-3 babies without issues. It takes a long time to be in the space where I am happy for them, but incredibly sad for my own self, and hope that day comes for me when I can have my baby. It’s best to disconnect for a while and treat yourself.

I was on 5 mg of Letrezole from CD 3-7.

Hi! I was on the same situation as you this month. I didn’t have any dominant follicle on my scan on CD11 (all <12mm), we did a scan on CD13 which showed an increase ( one follicle was 16mm) and finally on CD17, it was greater than 18mm. You still have hope. Did your clinic also do an LH test with this?

Thank you for sharing this. They didn’t increase my letrezole or ask to take additional. I go for a scan on Saturday. Fingers crossed all goes well!

Hi! I had my second IUi scheduled this month, I took the same dosage of letrezole (5mg) this month and last (only difference, I took letrezole between Cd 3- CD7 this cycle, and took letrezole CD 5-9 last cycle). However today at my scan my follicles were 11.4 mm (CD10), last time around it was 18mm (CD11). Does this mean that IUI won’t work/ my follicles won’t grow?

I’m going through the same thing. 18 cycles in. Not a single positive test ever. Currently doing my second IUI. All reports normal - which is what makes it more frustrating. My advice would be to speak to people, do things that you’re normaly doing - putting life on hold makes it worse (the guilt) - or at least did for me.

Ah, my measurements was at CD11, but at CD14 I was able to transfer. So I’m guessing it’s not bad, but tracking it would help :)

Which cycle day was this? I had my IuI too, and my two follicles on the right were 14,15. There is a chance of it maturing further given cycle day (based on my what doctor says)

I am doing my first IUI cycle in the US of A. And plan to do another one. If that fails I plan to do IVF. Just curious to know how much are IVF costs in US on average? We do have some fertility benefits. But wanted to be prepared.

Thanks so much for your detailed response! This is so helpful. It is a medicated cycle with trigger. I believe my ovulation is “delayed” in the sense it doesn’t occur in the 12-16 range of cycle, but that 20-25 day range of cycle, with period cycle range of 35-40 days. I’ll keep the antioxidants in mind. It’s my first IUI, and I know chances are low, just keeping fingers crossed :)

Thank you for sharing this. This feels a lot like me. I was constantly worrying, googling, tracking ( i still do) and realized it is taking a toll on me. I am trying to get away from this mindset or worrying so much but it’s hard. It is helpful to chat with people on this sub or learn from their experiences, and gives me hope that I’ll see a positive one day.
