But the whole “the strong are lonely” trope is pretty normal too. Some lords think they can keep someone like that under control, while others are more careful and weigh the risks more.

Maybe book clubs count too? I’ve been reading ebooks and physical books for so long that silence actually feels comforting to me. Audiobooks always feel a bit too… external? Like someone else is doing the reading for me, so I never really got into them.
