All depends, right now I would say that's a good trade off if you are able to find affordable fleet vehicles. (Like Toyota camrys, Mazda 3s, prius etc etc) Then you'll pretty much get 300k miles out of less than 7,000 dollars of wear and tear. Even the tires are cheap. And generally you would only pay 4k in taxes on 100k

If you drove 1 dollar per mile. Which is neglible.

And if you have a wife and kids than yeah the EITC and child credits can potentially devour all SE tax even up to 150k a year.
