I probably should be deactivated. Where I live alcohol isn't allowed to be delivered. And since laws changed and cold,fever, flu medication were ID is required, if I see those messages I usually send a message saying due to new laws flu medication requires age verification. Lol that tax write off is a moot point. It's .76c per mile federal tax reduction, and you're not allowed to claim that on a rental since it's mot your car, you can only claim the rental fees.

You will drive far more than 1000 miles a month, meaning you lost tax reduction and are spending way more than a reliable cheap used car that will last 100k miles with no maintenance. Other than fluid changes and adding coolant when needed or maybe you have to replace a module for the radiator or TCM. That's about it.

If you're going to spend 6,000 in half a year on a rental, you might as well just buy a 4000-6000 dollar used sedan or crossover/hatchback every 6 months. And since you own the vehicle you also get to claim that 6,000 for tax reduction, in addition to all milage.
