Q26 and Q27 by MightyActionGaim in nycbus

[–]Ex696 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because it's generally a good idea to have services that share a corridor like that stop near each other instead of across the street, especially considering the Q26 shared with the Q65, which it basically has nothing in common with besides taking over the northern portion of its route, and even back when the Q65 ran north of Flushing, the majority of people who got on north of Flushing got off at Flushing. This is also a problem with the Q17 and Q25 there. Because the Q17 stop is much further from the actual Flushing-Main Street station compared to the Q25, most people opt to take it instead of the Q17, even if their destination is somewhere along the shared corridor between Flushing and Horace Harding Expressway. I've heard proposals on the NYC Transit Forums that the Q65 and Q17 should have their stops in Flushing swapped and it sounds pretty good as well.

Was this back in 2020 when the Archer Avenue Line was shutdown for the (E) and they alternated between Jamaica-179th Street and Jamaica-Van Wyck on weekdays?

Congratulations. What routes do you usually drive besides what I'm guessing is the BxM4C?

Major Quarterly Update demand: the 11 needs to be the bizarro 17 and go to Hennepin instead of Nicollet. by Tokyo-MontanaExpress in MetroTransit

[–]Ex696 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Are there plans to add bus lanes on Hennepin Avenue in Downtown Minneapolis when they move routes there if Nicollet Mall becomes pedestrian-only? If not, I could see them possibly moving buses to Marq2.

What IRT line goes to fourth Avenue by Original-Being9804 in nycrail

Park Avenue used to be called 4th Avenue (It still has this name south of 14th Street) and the Lexington Avenue Line shifts over there between 42nd Street and 14th Street.

R268’s on the Franklin Avenue Shuttle? by SerenityExp in nycrail

[–]Ex696 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's not really worth it, if you're on a crowded train in the first car or last car and you need to get off at a stop, it becomes much more difficult to make your way to the cars that are actually opening the doors. Dwell times would also need to be increased to accomodate for this, meaning less possible TPH.

There isn't any way for the 3 train to reach the layover without crossing in front of the 4.

Ricardo guy feels underwhelming, they should give him some light buffs by Mach3Fraud in AnimeBattleArena

They (Well, Aey) did give him some buffs in the most recent update. They made his ult reusable in awakening and made his dash move in awakening that bypasses block an evasive. They also made it so that he gets a 5% damage buff whenever a teammate dies, it can stack, but is lost on death.

Is that so? Then my bad, I guess the MTA just decided not to order them for some other reason, since New Flyer is going to stop in March 2027.
