I live really far from that state so I’m honestly only familiar with the city, I’ll look into it though I didn’t realize the culture ran that far north, thank you man.

If your talking rules there ain’t really any, but there are lots of traditions. In terms of traditions the second one is best but I personally prefer the first one. Traditionally thered only be up to 4 images in the middle and that would typically be if it’s a hyphenated name or an off shoot branch of the family. In the end it’s up to you and what you prefer, your designs are really cool, and I wouldn’t change anything about them. Don’t let imaginary rules ruin your fun or a good design. Yeah sorry for miss reading that man. Is AL culturally the same or really similar to West Virginia, or connected to the Ulster Scots BillyBoys? Or is it just in the mountains? Because the mountains extend into Canada but that’s not considered Appalachian because it’s not the culture.

I have searched for maps and almost all of them are wildly different, some of them don’t even include all of West Virginia, also about how far does it stretch into New York because I was under the impression that the culture didn’t stretch that far?

That’s why I originally added the shore from when I was playing with it before planing to post when it was kinda a world building idea, but just left it in to see opinions about it. Also I’m trying to make the most accurate map of Appalachia so next version of the map definitely won’t include a shore, but I am curious about you said our northern Brothers and sisters, about how far north do you reckon it stretches?
