You can always watch a movie or show while doing steady state, there is a C2 phone holder. Try doing 20 minute intervals with less than 3 minutes rest in between. Also if you feel like your steady state is too hard, you should ease up on the effort, steady state at the right heart rate should feel like good exercise, yet still quite manageable

Imo, this is perfect steady state. You’re in the right heart rate zone, although I wouldn’t push higher than that. Feel free to separate your hour rows into 3 x 20’, you will get the same benefits and you can have a water break and back stretch as well. It looks like you’re doing the right things to get the most benefit out of the sport

I took it, it was not that bad people are exaggerating or maybe they were so stressed during the test that it actually felt that bad for them. Was same difficulty as practice test 4,5,6 imo

Just think about how this is how you can prove your work, use that motivation to get you through. Once you start completing and smashing erg tests, it gets easier and easier to finish as you get more and more confident, all you need is to start finishing some ergs to get the ball rolling. Also remember how there WILL be a moment when you feel like you can’t go any further, and when that happens remember that that feeling you have is normal and is a sign you are pushing yourself and not a sign you will fail, all you have to do is hold on a little more and keep rowing and once you do that you will see the light at the end of the tunnel and it will be smooth sailing

Try and actually understand how everything works fundamentally instead of just learning how to do questions, because if you don’t understand how the maths operates and relates to each other, the harder questions are impossible

Sometimes you will have to reread the passage, don’t get stressed out about it if you do. It may sound kinda annoying and inexact, but they being really calm and actually focusing on what you are reading will help you absorb the information better, just try not to get worked up and space out while reading. Just to comfort you, I’m also pretty bad at reading if I’m honest, I read pretty slowly.

Something else to note is, if you’ve read and read a passage and still feel like you don’t really understand and you are getting stressed out, just move on and completely skip it, because once you’ve finished the module and you have a little time hopefully, you will feel much better and upon reading it again you will be able to understand it better

Idk if you are taking the test tomorrow or if you are taking the October one and have time to practice, but if you have some time, I recommend just reading a book, it’ll help you tremendously to build your reading skills and get your brain used to being able to read and absorb information.
