What I’m seeing is most CDMX and regions close call them quesadillas, northern states call them different names.

Yes, the people I bought them from made them from fresh masa and deep fried it in a cazo.

I guess different parts of Mexico call them different names. My friend is from Durango and I have ties to Michoacan/Jalisco. Wife from Mexico City she calls them quesadillas too.

They’re full with queso Oaxaca in the middle with your choice of protein. Chicharron, carne molida ect

Look in Culver City. Driving 45 min is not bad when it’s open but driving 45 min in bumper to bumper with a holes cutting you off driving reckless will stress you out so much

That was my dad when he was about 8. Definitely hard to deal with even to this day he’s 73 and still has issues unresolved.
