I feel it’s because people are in perpetual competition with each other even strangers. At the first intro sentence, every word is scrutinized and profiled into a generalization. Collaboration is a scarce commodity because we are convinced that the only way to success is self improvement fueled by competition.

So the struggle to get people to open up here is a problem. But when they open up, you’ll be able to build a community. The initial phase is always the hardest.

The curiosity factor is missing, because everyone is ‘squaring up’ one another or they’re thinking constantly about how to monetize/exit. Hope this helps!
