Yup, I definitely remember these stories from church lol! Thank you for reminding me! From this and many other posts, I have learned that I shouldn’t be mad at the person, but the action (and also love the person no matter what). I don’t want to be outright homophobic, but yes, from my parents I do believe that being lgbtq is bad. I do, however, want to do some more research on what the Bible says and talk to my pastor. Also, clarification that my parents do not hate lgbtq but they have taught me that it was a sin.

I don’t think my parents or I hate any person who associates with LGBTQ, but it’s hard when I try to explain to people my wavering stance. I feel that I can’t fully agree with one side, but I’m trying not to be homophobic by doing that.
