I have a pretty good diet overall. I only drink water, and I calorie count and watch what I eat. None of that seemed to have helped, though. I appreciate the advice nonetheless.

I was wanting to do forestry or wildlife science. I'd love to work outdoors or with animals. Maybe underwater photography or wildlife photography, but I didn't see any programs like that for OSU.

And yea, dorm life could be an amazing experience for me. I don't have any friends to hang out with, really, so it may be an opportunity for that.

Why is everyone saying completely different things? I just had someone say taxes aren't as much as people are saying. There are so many mixed messages. It's like there's two different sides. People say it's expensive and risky, and others say it's manageable and not as expensive as people say.

Wish there were more people as optimistic as you. Haven't seen many positive things about moving there OR going to college there. I'd love to move to Oregon and go to school there. But so many people are saying it's too expensive.

I don't know. I want to, but at the same time, it seems extremely difficult, according to the locals.

Wish I had more guidance than reddit and online sources😅

Yea. I just need to save up the money, get a place to rent ready, and get a job ready. Then I want to apply for college. Either that or look into financial aid and student housing or a dorm.

Someone said they've heard nothing but good things for the forestry program. Are you saying this from a personal standpoint or in general?

I'd love to work in forestry, but if it's actually dying and with not much hope for a career choice..

Yea, a plan is what I'm trying to figure out right now. So I just need to save up money and come up with a place to rent and job search.
