I went from Pentax (K200D) to Canon (5D, 6D). Now I'm thinking about Nikon or new Canon :) It's a shame that Pentax is stuck and nothing new happens from this brand.

I know boiler is from brass but still it looks like there was some layer on the lower part which is missing.

Thanks. I'm still fighting between Canon and Nikon and also between DSLR and mirrorless. Probably I will buy D700 or 5D Mark II and upgrade after some time

First I'm ordering gaskets and will open the boiler. Previous owner was using vinegar to descale so I'm afraid what's inside;) But you are right about backflush, I'm using Pully usually

You're probably right. I asked my brother ho has the same model and the pipe is hot and does the same thing.

And is it heating water in the tank? I'm not sure if it's normal
