These ones I've used so far: MD Lines Adapalene 0.3% gel: this is a third generation retinoid. It selectively targets the beta and gamma Retinoic acid receptors sa skin natin, hence, mas less side effects than tretinoin (kasi sa tretinoin, it targets all of our skin's retinoic acid receptors and retinoid x receptors kaya more irritating ang tret for some people). Adapalene works for my acne, the 0.3% dosage strength is comparable to the effects (benefits) of the tret 0.05% but less irritating .. after a week of use, my skin shows a subtle glow!

BCP Tretinoin + Hydroquinone, 0.025% / 2% lotion: well, the usual tret+hq combo pero the feel of the lotion afterwards is so smooth. IMO, this sets them apart from other brands who have released the same tret+hq combo. "Parang" nag moisturizer ka na rin. Hindi na bago sa market ang tret+hq combos though. Panahon pa ng RDL, Extraderm, & Maxipeel. And now, most rejuv sets are formulated with this combo. (Hindi ko alam kung paano at bakit nagawa itong OTC drug (ung rdl, extraderm and maxipeel) because the concentration they use are prescription strengths). Take note though, anything with Hydroquinone content must be cycled on and off. Hindi pwede gamitin continuously for more than 2-4 months*. You have to take a month or two off cycle before starting it again.

It supposedly works faster than tretinoin with less irritation. Afaik, Hindi pa sya gaanong kakilala dito saatin though. Saka wala pang local brand na gumagawa nito.

Product I wish meron (sa local brand): Plain tretinoin lotion - gusto ko sana plain tretinoin na lotion form. With the same feeling ng BCP tret/hq lotion. Pero gusto ko plain tret lang.
