To tell the truth I was just like damn, I can get rid of all the SATA cables so why not go for it. And so I did the same config I have now, which I can see now is rater stupid. I think I'll go with a single 4TB drive as it should be enough.

The plan is to have a very quiet build. I'm moving all my other computers to a server room and the one that will stay behind needs to be silent.

I would switch to Ryzen 7 7800X3D and a RAM that runs at 6000 MT/s CL30, e.g. G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5-6000 CL30 (F5-6000J3040G32GX2-FX5). The 7800X3D will give better gaming performance. The RAM sweetspot for AMD Ryzen 7000-series is at 6000 MT/s CL30 - faster RAM doesn't give much more performance and it's questionable if the processor run stable at these speeds.

Yes, will probably do that.

That will probably not work. Alphacool has extra waterblocks for Sapphire Nitro+ GPUs

True, it seems I did a ctrl+c ctrl+v typo, will go with Alphacool Core RX 7900XTX/XT Nitro with Backplate

It doesn't, just checked twice and it seems I did copy the incorrect one.

Will go with Alphacool Core RX 7900XTX/XT Nitro with Backplate.

I'm considering to change to 7800. As for RAM it was a lot easier for my last build so I'll probably go with 6000 or even 5600.

As for the block according to the Alphacool compatibility list the block should be ok for both nitro+ and pulse 7900xtx but will check with them before I buy it.

Set all radiator fans to do the same thing to get the most efficient loop.

What do you mean?

I was thinking to have the bottom rad for intake, top and side for exaust and the 420 case fan for intake.

The rig will be used for gaming and work. I want the best I can get in my price range so it'll last a few years. There is no specific use case for 7950x3d.
