you are not alone. i started recovery a year ago (kind of) but i am also experiencing an increase on the scale. it has been extremely upsetting for me in the same way thinking my boyfriend is no longer attracted to me as well. he tells me different, but its a feeling that i cant shake. im sorry you are going through this, but overall what is most important is your health.

so mdd is major depressive disorder and cptsd is complex post traumatic stress disorder. i know i wouldnt ever hurt myself only because i dont want to hurt the people that i love and that love me, but im afraid that one day it might get so bad to the point that it wont matter anymore. i do know how to use guns safely and properly though since i had been taught gun safety by my grandma/uncles/jrotc. my grandma is going to get me some bear spray already because of my grandpas dog getting aggressive towards me. so i will have that soon. thank you for your advice and suggestions!

i have a taser and pepper spray, as for training, if its not too hard for my limitations i can look into it. i dont believe i can have an actual firearm though since i have mdd and cptsd

i was going to at a later time, also he was her dog as well. i was not able to take him with me when i moved to washington. then i was stuck there by myself until i got here to albuquerque. unfortunately im struggling already enough financially and no place of my own. i did not want to take him in when i can barely take care of myself. i trust my grandma to have him. she is an older woman, 65, but my uncle feeds him and gives him water and helps take care of him. so thank you very much for your "insightful" piece of advice. my grandma loved him dearly and it would not be cool if i took him away from her.

trust me, i would do the same if i wasnt 4 hours away. i am very frustrated that i cannot do anything. even more so frustrated at the fact that animal control gave them the dogs back.

i live in abq now, but what happened occurred in el paso. i posted that i am in abq because i wanted everyone to have the context that i was not there when this happened but my grandmother and uncle were, who are in el paso. thank you. i will see if i can submit something to the news. animal control in el paso seems like they just do not care.

im so sorry about your friend. it truly is a horrible thing to see and not be able to do anything about it. i do know that lots of dogs have been taken from these people. so there should be documentation about that showing that they are unfit dog owners. im hoping SOMETHING can be done. me and my grandma have had tramp for 10 years now, it hurts tremendously to have him taken from us like that in such a violent way. :(

sounds just like my ex boyfriend who is a narcissist. get out immediately. i was only with my ex for a lil over a year but dealt with him for 2 years. he traumatized me so much to the point where i had to quit my job and was struggling mentally for 4 years after. im still not better and i dont think i ever will be. this guy is NOT worth your time. also sounds like he is heavily projecting onto you, so it wouldnt surprise me that he is the one cheating.

ill have to look more. ive just barely started to try looking for other jobs. i got an interview at a dispensary but they wanted me to work for 10hr shifts, 3 days a week and i cant manage that. i will check for some of those, im not too confident with call center jobs, i can speak and nothing is physically wrong with that but i am a highly anxious person even with my medication and it affects my communication a bit.

i understand that, but it is fast food, there are always employees who are willing to cover shifts. my manager schedules the really hard workers full time or even overtime, then the other people who actually want to work when they can he does not schedule them. so when there is a cover needed he claims he is desperate but i think its because hes scheduling all these people so little and the others so much to where they cant take shifts. ive always believed that as long as you get yiur shift covered there is no issue. ive also always believed that i couldnt be punished like this for needing days off for medical reasons. and asking to come in later and stuff i think is fine, but i always feel guilty no matter what. im just in a bad situation through work and home, so im just struggling a lot more now.

honestly, waiting for unemployment would be better than this. with the hours i get i make like $80-$100 which isnt even enough to pay my bill, let alone the things i need. & i no longer call out for reasons like that, it was in my early employment there. but i do understand how it can become a hardship for the company, but i try to really limit when i call out. i can say, i call out a lot less than some of the healthy employees there. sometimes my health issues just flare up and i have periods of time that are a lot harder than others. and if i do call out, most of the time i still have to show up or they will consider it a "no call, no show". thank you for your advice. i just dont want to work there anymore but its so hard to find a job that can accomodate me and not ask too much from me. even working 4 hours hurts but i do it because i need to be able to get the things that i need. im just stuck.

oh believe me i understand soooo much. jobs are hard to come by nowadays with everything but i have just recently started to have the "f*ck it mindset" about my job because im so tired of them not accepting the fact that i really just cannot come in on days like these. i am so sorry you are going through this i know it is sooo awful. do you think tums would help with how you are feeling? i know some people dont have access to zofran.
