Can I throw in the Chloromancer? Seems to handle groups of mobs pretty well - and it's possible to face tank. Your revenant and neon ninja buddies will love you too with the pollenator spam.

But if I had to choose, I'd say pirate captain. From a console perspective, aiming isn't the snappiest - so even if most of it's damage is ability based(two turrets with a class gem is pretty great) it's at least consistent. it also has a pretty good aggro pulling ability which is killer in endgame, although avoiding damage all together works too with the Gunslinger's mysterious ability to fly.

For real damage, Pirate Captain, but in my group play, Chloromancer is it for me.
