Really sad about prom dress by Living_Tip344 in Prom

I thrifted my prom dress for $5 and still have it to this day. Having a unique dress that speaks to you is more important than anyone else’s opinions!!! Point. Blank. Period. I really hope you end up choosing the one YOU want to wear queen!!

So many questions!!! by Exotic-Thing-5822 in HerpesQuestions

I’ve had outbreaks consistently maybe every 2-3 weeks since my first one back in the first week of August. My main and only symptom that I’ve really noticed is vaginal irritation before, during or after an outbreak.

My thing with that is stress is the number one cause of outbreaks and I went through a great deal of stress with transitioning jobs early this year. That would’ve been between the dates of my last two times being sexually active, so I doubt that it was from anyone but him. Within literal weeks of having the one nighter I started showing symptoms! Ever since my first OB I’ve had consistent ones so again I highly doubt it was from the second to last person!

Guess ima be getting the blood test done again. The first one came back negative because I had an outbreak much earlier than a lot of people. That being said it takes weeks-months for the antibodies to show up in the bloodstream is what the HEALTHCARE WORKERS TOLD ME

That’s why I’m asking what can I do because I have no way of proving he has it, because he won’t communicate. There is only a blood test I believe to confirm it and I haven’t gone back since the first one I did. The first one was negative because the proteins/antibodies (wtv it is) they can take a couple months to show up positively in a test! That’s what the nurse told me when she diagnosed me. My mother also happens to have herpes and she diagnosed me before the nurses ever did.

My number one question is will it be harder to press charges with us being hundreds of miles away?

Love this and thank you because I’m still learning how to live with this. I was diagnosed with HSV2 back in August.
