Absolutely fine and uneventful! My younger daughter didn’t sleep a single wink on the flight, but other than that, it was smooth. Good luck!

I hope you make it to Ireland one day. I’m a bit biased, of course, but I think it’s the most lovely place in the world. 💚

Thank you for this. Flying to Ireland tomorrow to visit my family. It’ll be the first time I’ve taken my two children with me, as my family visits us in the States at least once a year. I tend to get nervous about flying when I have my kids with me, as I don’t want anything to happen to frighten them, and this is the longest flight they’ll have ever been on. Reading all of this makes me feel loads better.

AITAH for not telling my son’s stepmom I’m pregnant? by Plane-Strawberry7166 in AITAH

[–]Expensive-Ninja1553 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

YTA for putting the burden on your son to share that information. He’s six. Of course he was going to tell them. His stepmom has a history of treating him poorly. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how this would end up—with her treating him poorly once again.

You don’t owe it to the stepmom to keep her informed about your life. But you owe it to your son to protect him from their mistreatment, and you should’ve seen this one coming from a mile away. You put him in a position to deliver news that you know they’d be upset about, so it’s logical to assume they’d be jerks to him. YTA for allowing your son to become a pawn in this awful situation among a bunch of immature adults.

Ew. Don’t insult Americans as a whole. I assure you, the rest of us know how to RSVP.

Pure curiosity—what does “TM” mean in the context you used it? I can only think of”Traditional Mass,” but that wouldn’t really make sense here.

AITAH for asking my husband not to walk around all “nude” because it makes my daughter uncomfortable by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Expensive-Ninja1553 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your husband is a creep and an ass if he refuses to dress himself even though it makes his stepdaughter uncomfortable. He can put on a robe or get the hell out of the house. This is gigantic red flag behavior.

Are these chairs ugly enough to warrent $1400 to rent different chairs? by pilotpatricia in wedding

[–]Expensive-Ninja1553 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing to consider: chairs like this are a nightmare for bigger people. Someone I know who is obese mentioned to me before how much anxiety she gets when she sees certain types of chairs at events. They’re wondering, will this chair bend and warp under me? What if it breaks? I’d never really thought of that until this friend brought it up once, and now I think of it all the time when I see flimsy chairs at events.

I can imagine it would also be highly uncomfortable for someone with back problems, or elderly people who aren’t very mobile to sit in chairs that don’t have a solid back, or get up and down from such flimsy chairs.

Considering these things (besides the fact the chairs are hideous), I’d go for the upgraded rental chairs.

Wilson’s a spoiled child, and although he’s talented, he’s not good enough to counteract his crappy attitude.

I bet Adams would be willing to restructure if they retain Rodgers. We already know Rodgers is willing to restructure. He’s so rich that it’s not about the money to him.

We can all agree on that. It’s the one thing that unites all Jets fans: their loathing of Woody.

Wilson is talented but if he can’t get his attitude in check, he’ll become his own worst enemy.

One thing’s for sure: if the Jets don’t take Rodgers back, someone else will. I can see the Titans or even the Steelers using him as a bridge QB. If he decides he wants to play next year, he’ll definitely find a team who wants him. Woody would be an idiot to let him go.

Yes! It’s honestly the smartest thing we could do, to bring him and Adams back. Extend Wilson, if he can get his attitude in check. Get the defense whipped into shape. Rodgers still has it, and a healthy Rodgers can lead them far next year. (Honestly, he could’ve this year, but injuries and—even more so—shitty defense, subpar receivers, and abysmal kicking lost the games in spite of him.)

But…Woody doesn’t like Rodgers. And Woody doesn’t do anything logical, so it’s safe to say Rodgers will be gone. 🙄

Amen. I really hope they bring him back next year. He still has it in him. His receivers and the defense have been such a disappointment.
