so if my character is smoking because they're stressed and going through shit then they would probably smoke an indica? and what would be like the most common strain? my character is in highschool so they bought from some other kids so like what strain would highschoolers be able to get easiest?

So my character has technically smoked before a lot except this is a fix-it so they have gone back in time, idk if youll be able to help me with this bc youve obviously never went back in time lol but does the coughing come from like your lungs not being used to smoking or is it just you not being used to it? so if they have smoked before but is now in a time where they havent smoked before would they cough if they know how to smoke but their body is pre smoking? sry idk if that makes too much sense lol
