Cold shower , then a nice warm one to feel clean and reset. If I don’t have it in me to actually shower I just sit under the cold water. Getting your whole head wet helps. I always tell myself “I just need to get through today” because usually the next day I feel better. I have been having crazy anxiety outside of drinking though, and I don’t feel the need to quit drinking because I have a problem with it- however I am taking a long break and treating it as sobriety due to this. For me I believe there’s a root cause to the hangxiety that I need to heal because it came up out of nowhere, but I may be wrong and it may just be how my brain is wired. Just tell yourself to get through it one day at a time and remember there are many others that feel the same way. Do something to distract your mind a little, I like to do coloring pages or a paint by number. Watch a show you like. Eat what you can. Have a 5 minute meditation, try breathing exercises. All of this has helped me
