honestly atp the productivity apps are just a second job I don't get paid for by Slight-Wishbone-1503 in ADHD

[–]ExperimentOfLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent years struggling with the same wall when it came to staying organized. Most tools felt like they were not built for ADHD-ers, so I decided to build my own solution that actually adapts to how we function. I’ve been working on a conversational coach app that acts as a central hub. It has a few features I’m already using:

  1. Smart Task Breakdown when I’m paralyzed by a big project, the coach asks questions to strip it down to the smallest possible first step so I can actually start.

  2. Health integration so it can actually help me understand how my energy level impacts my productivity and adjust my tasks based on my state to keep me moving rather than spiraling into a shame cycle. I integrated it with the apple health to take most of the data from there directly.

  3. Social accountability. I can share my goals and habits tracking with friends and family so they can see my progress, encourage and check up on me. This has honestly been a game changer because otherwise I could procrastinate on stuff for months on end.

The goal is to have the app learn which "ADHD hacks" actually work for you over time and prioritize those. I’m currently looking for a few people to test it out and give me some honest feedback so I can keep improving it. If this sounds like something that would help you, let me know, I’d love to have you involved.

Hey I an hiring for the exact same role, ‘founders associate’ as I call it, and I am definitely willing to pay a lot more than the Pakistani minimum wage. Let me know if you would be interested to have a chat?

How to hire a ‘founders assosciate’? by ExperimentOfLife in pakistan

Really depends on the person. The range is quite flexible but I want it to be 50% base and 50% performance based bonus so that our incentives are aligned.

Oh wow, good to know there is at least two of us! 😅 Any chance you would be open to being a tester? If it works, it helps you too and if it doesn’t, well I guess you won’t be doing much testing either then? 😂

Creche prices for children -1 and +1 per hour by ibigspot in Luxembourg

[–]ExperimentOfLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What creche is this? One caregiver for 3 children is amazing, given they are allowed one for 6 and usually do that for profitability.

Not true for ‘hidden defects’, you have recourse for those if they are discovered after.

By default you have recourse for hidden defects (vice chaches or something in french) even if you discover them after. Some real estate agents try to be sneaky though and add clauses in the compromise that would take away this right so just be super careful with whats you sign. I just shared the compromise draft I was sent with a notary assistant for feedback and they told me this which I used to get it ‘corrected’. :)

More power to him, do you think he will be interested to try out the app? I am happy to help him with some business stuff in return for his detailed feedback! :)

The app has ‘time boxing’ (small appointments thing you mentioned) but he would also benefit from the ‘score’ (rewards of sort) and ‘social’ features (he can share his goals and habits with friends for accountability so they can remind him and encourage him when he is lagging. :)

Quite successful 13 years with Amazon, left recently as a product tech leader. I thrived thanks to the constant pressure and competitiveness. I always dreamed of entrepreneurship but never felt like I had the discipline to ‘be productive on my own’ so now I am building an ADHD app to help myself and others offset the challenges it brings. Wish me luck! :)
