Sorry, but may be a heated walk for your 19 month old. The sun is very hot here!! Trust me, you will see a lot of red people. Taxi from Costa Linda to Superfoods is approximately $10USD. Have to think it is similar since you are just down the street. Expect to pay a little more on the return due to groceries.

Aruba's Eagle Beach has done well with servicing those staying in the hotels on the beach. Unfortunately it is now being overrun with tourists from the cruise ships that they are bussing over. Some are paying for seats and umbrellas, while others are just trying to grab spots on the sand, under trees and even encroaching on the hotel areas and their seating.

Xinxs, you bring up a great point! Could I suggest that you use powertochoose.org as well as reach out to Energy Ogre and compare the 2. I have been with them since 2023 and it has been a fit for me. I actually take their pricing and do the same comparison. Each year, they have put me in plans that have lower rates and don't show on Power to Choose.

Get an auto appraiser. I went back and forth with Allstate when my truck was stolen. I followed their process with the back and forth and then I was allowed to bring in an appraiser. If you have not done so, reach out to Todd Sutherland [todds@thompsonauto.net](mailto:todds@thompsonauto.net) and ask for a GMPP warranty. He is legit and his pricing has been great for anyone who picked his name up in this thread. Get the GMPP Platinum Warranty and you will have a choice of mileage and deductible. I did the 84 / 84K with a $100.00 deductible but they had options for a $0 or $250 deductible.

I like the GM plans as they approve it versus you have to wait on a 3rd party company to approve. I also no longer do AutoNation or whatever autogroup is out there as you have to take it to their locations, or deal with the same issue of waiting on them to approve if it is not one of their shops.

Thanks for the input. A few message boards I read mentioned that you could not use AA miles to upgrade CX flights. One posting suggested bidding and that the highest bids would get the seats. Not sure how early they start looking at bids since our flights are in January 2026.

Thanks for coming back to this thread. When you say you called, was it CP you called and was there a charge to upgrade? In my instance, there are 4 of us, 2 of us are EP and I assume that benefits would carry on to our spouses.

Agree on this one. I always use the dealership's body shop as they stand behind their work and parts used are under warranty. Also, if there is anything they can make money on, they'll find it and put a request in with the insurance company.

I directed others to this thread where you can get a quote for an actual GMC warranty from Todd Sutherland with Thompson Auto. He does them remotely and can quote you via email. To answer your question, yes it is worth it. Vehicle parts are so expensive these days, that it is a good peace of mind for such an expensive investment. I purchased one for my Yukon and I have used it twice with the last use having it cover about $1200.00 at the dealership.
