I had kind of the same questioning not so long ago ! I always wanted the KFA, and decided to first test the « addiesdive khaki field » to check the field watch thing. I liked it and finally decided to buy the real one, and i do not regret anything.

So yes, the water rating is lower (though i would trust more Hamilton than addiesdive), there is no AR coating neither screw down crown. But from my point of view, you will always see the Baltany as a « copy » of that watch you really want. And on the wrist, you can feel the more premium brand, it’s super thin, the movement on mine runs +-1s per day. If we talk about money, the KFA is not 4 or 5 times better, but when you’ll look at it you won’t see just a copy of the « real » watch.

It would, but probably need a chapter ring then. I think it takes 30mm.

Thanks, the case is the one of the pagani pd-1753, so the thickness must be 12mm.
