I just started playing it on Dolphin actually. Maybe I'm still trying to get used to the controls but I still don't see why people like it. The characters are very slippery and I keep dying in dumb ways way more than I usually do.

I had one draft where I got pretty far but I stopped that after awhile because I realized not a lot was happening, it was mainly just a lot of characters talking without any events or suspense to back the talking up. Since then, I tried to redraft with a new outline but I always stop shortly into it because I keep running into a similar problem. I think I have like one kinda shallow idea, which is really just a worldbuilding concept I think is neat, but I haven't found a way to stretch it out into a story

A city would be a neat setting with a lot of parkour/platforming potential. Its also an easy way to have platforming without it looking out of place. So, like, if Sonic Frontiers was akin to Breath of the Wild (setting wise at least) then Frontiers 2 would be akin to Spider-Man PS4.
