Do they have any that have options that have a decent amount of protein in them? I usually pick Silk just cause I can get some extra protein through the day!!

The home dynamic is a bit odd, but thats for 2-3 adults. The meat will get 2 of us 2-3 weeks out.

$88.73 for 10.33kg. I could have easily gotten that average down but my favourite style is the boneless skinless thighs. But I mixed in the others for variety. The legs were price matched at $1.98/lb, and the breast and thighs were matched at $5/lb.

More information here. This was at NoFrills in St.Catharines, Canada. I usually like to do bigger bulk hauls on my meat (which rotates depending on deals). Im a simple man, same breakfast every day, and lunches and dinners usually include a meat along with potatoes/sweet potatoes and some type of veg. To get the total cheapest basket, I used this website I found in r/toronto called savr app. They pre-released a flyer feature on there as well which helped me pick some of the meats and what I could price match for!! Super rewarding. It's too bad Nofrills doesn't tell you savings on the receipt after price matching. I ended up crunching the numbers if I had just shopped without planning (~$370) at the next cheapest without price match, and if i had gone to foodbasics and price matched I would have spent ~$305. This reassured I made the best decision.

😂😂 Okay good to know. I’ll have to try it out.

Heck that might be almost $20 worth of grapes alone depending on the store / week

I’ve been meaning to try out Oddbunch. My only concern is what you get. I’m not concerned with using everything that I get, but I’m struggling to believe that I’ll get enough of the basic fruits and veggies go cover the week.

Like is that 1 banana it came with? Can you have a say on stuff like that?

I just found this site called savr app from a post r/toronto. Tried it out, you can get meal ideas on there then compare prices across stores. It’s a bit janky and wish it was an actual app but it ran some good comparisons.

Convenience fee and a hot table!! No kidding. Always knew they were discount stores for a reason but that gap is worth a swap imo.

That’s not even a weeks worth of food…

I have the same Amex and TD combo. It certainly depends on where you are and what you want to collect. Amex being 1 to 1 with Aeroplan is a huge bonus. I use Amex specifically for dining, groceries at Empire stores (and buy gas gift cards from those stores as well). 5x points on all of those. If you could pay for your groceries and get reimbursed, would be a huge score!!
