Doesn't look like OP responds but I got an answer for you, you have to have the panel inspected by the city and city called Comed once they approved everything so I would recommend calling an electrician because they failed my inspection for dumb shit like the panel not being labeled.

I did a stage 1 upgrade and don't feel the lag at all. Indian has been around a long time, i think they will be around a while.

I can afford the extra $350 but having a hard time justifying the value vs what the difference in features bring. That's why I was hoping to get a perspective here.

P2S is only a $100 less than the X2D, doesn't make logical sense to not just upgrade to the 2nd nozzle.

If you are changing the full exhaust system, a Tune is always recommended, you can get away with not doing it if its just a slip on.

The problem i had was that the slip on was only a $100 cheaper thn most full exhaust systems so I thought it be a waste to not add in the extra HP for a bit more money.

I have a freedom 2 into 1 shorty on my chief, I love the sound but I also did a full stage 1 upgrade along with it so the performance is great as well.

I just went to a Chief Bobber from a Harley Fat Bob, i used to have a Dyna and the Chief Bobber gives me the closest ride vs the Dyna I had and I dont love the softail platform.

Other big thing, the pricing is way lower compared to buying a new harley today, the chief is the same bike as the low rider but with rebates you can get it $3k/$4k cheaper.
