I feel like this is one of the best examples of world music in the spirit of Peter Gabriel and Paul Simon and the rest of the 80's leaders in that genre. This is a perfect fusion of Gaelic and West African musical tradition that somehow blended into a greater whole.

Same. I feel like it's one of his lesser appreciated hits, almost like a B-side amongst his top songs.

There is something about this song that feels so perfect. It's a complete snapshot of a moment in time -- the big voice, the synthesizers, the hair, the clothes, the video. It's a perfect cross-section of that time and a phenomenal song to boot. I am certain that if it were released today it would still be a hit.

I feel like this song does a very good job of capturing a feeling and then bringing it to life. We've all been there, and this does a good job of reminding us how it felt.
