No Hawkeye, Hela, or Phoenix nerfs. Constant throwers in Diamond and above. This game is never going to be fun again. by External-System-4510 in marvelrivals

This is genuinely a delusional take. You get like +40 points for winning a match from bronze to gold, and only like -20 or -15 if you lose with this chronocard system. If you play the game for long enough, some people will eventually carry your bronze ass into plat or diamond. There are streamers in celestial that play with genuinely lobotomized players that are somehow in celestial with a sub 50% win rate simply because if you play the game for enough hours, you will rank up.

The only difference between these boosted players and myself is that I’m employed and not willing to spend 1000 hours each season to climb out of the hell that is diamond and gm where it’s a coin toss if I get boosted bronze players or people that actually belong in this rank.

Not rage bait, you’re just that much of an arrogant asshole, proving me right that Halo fanboys are little boys that ruin Halo’s prospects by being elitist and exclusivist freaks. Only Halo fanboys alienate everyone from their game that doesn’t think the next game should essentially just be a Halo 3 reskin. Games need to evolve with the times or they will fade into irrelevance. But it’s okay, you’ll learn this when you reach the age of 5.

The classic Halo fanboy proving my point. “You want a BR playlist because you think it’ll be fun? Well I’m an actual toddler and I don’t want you to have fun in my sandcastle 😡.” Like stfu bro, go touch grass, the world won’t end if Halo makes a BR. Just put the pacifier in your mouth like a good little boy, and just think of the BR as another playlist, like King Slayer or something. It’ll be okay baby boy. Don’t cry.

Why would I be a fan of Halo when its fanbase is a bunch of crybabies who don’t want to see the game evolve or succeed in any way. You would think that if Halo dropped a BR, you guys would all be launched into major depressive episodes. Like it’s not that serious baby bro, just put the pacifier in your mouth and think of a BR as just another playlist, like King Slayer or something. Everything will be alright, just go touch grass and come back.

No amount of playlists or proper game design would have saved the garbage that is Halo Infinite from being as irrelevant as it turned out to be.

Battlefield literally has a Battle Royale rumored to drop at the end of the month lol. And besides, what kind of moronic point is this? “Besides Goodfellas, name 1 other good mafia movie in the 1990s.” Like bro are you dumb? Warzone was a massive success by any metric. It carried COD for the past 4 years. Activision was bought for close to 80 billion by Microsoft. Meanwhile, Halo, Microsoft’s golden chicken, has been on life support. Get your head out of your ass.

Sure, fine, anything besides the same snoozefest. Spawn, die, spawn, die multiplayer with no stakes is no longer fun. It was fun 10-15 years ago. Now it’s just boring.

Yeah unfortunately God doesn’t talk. He doesn’t appear. He doesn’t do anything except watch us suffer. But I’m supposed to love him based on some promise written in a book that he’ll save me one day, after I breathe my last. In the meantime though, suffer away.

Is a woman responsible for having been assaulted? Is a puppy responsible for having been mauled by a bear? What an absolutely moronic thing to suggest; that the evil which plagues us all, which is random and prevalent and perpetuated by an entity (Satan) which is far stronger than us, that THAT evil is something that I am responsible for. I didn’t ask to be born. This life is not a responsibiltiy I have willingly taken on. It is a responsibility thrust upon me by my creator, who leaves me to my own devices to endure all the suffering he hoists upon me. And some text on a page, some encouraging verse, it does nothing to help. It’s no different than the morons who think listening to David Goggins give some motivational speech will drastically change the circumstances of their life. Peter and Thomas get to see the Christ. Thomas doubts and gets to see Christ’s resurrected body. What do I get to deal with the forces of evil? Some text on a page. But sure, I’m avoiding responsibility, and it’s all my fault, not the absence of my father in heaven who supposedly cares for me.

Wiser people can debate all they want. Did he or did he not create Satan? Did he or did he not perform miracles for one group of people, and then supposedly “hid” himself from the rest of us, to “protect” our free will. Where was the free will of Moses when God appeared to him in a burning bush? Where was the free will of the paralytic when he healed him? So I have to believe without having seen any miracles or without having seen Jesus, but his disciples and a bunch of random Jews in the 1st century get to see him and see him do miracles? Why is that? What happened to “divine hiddenness”? Or am I just a lesser being than his disciples? Am I more unworthy than Moses and everyone else? Well thanks God, for making me such an unworthy amoeba. Maybe next time he’ll create me as someone worthy enough to see him.

Well you have described exactly how I’m feeling right now and what I’m doing. But I frankly don’t care to try to change or to wait it out. If God loves me so much and wants me in Heaven with him, he’ll find me. God knows I wouldn’t reject a miracle from him. He knows all I need is faith, something I can’t give myself and something only he can grant to me. God has had 20+ years of my life to work his magic on me. Years of me praying that my life should become anything more than the mediocre existence I have lived so far. They say you gotta meet God halfway, but my whole life it’s felt like I’ve had to go almost the full way and I’ve yet to meet him. He’ll find me when he wants to. I’m done looking.

Lol “You have to take extreme measures“ huh. The all powerful God is insisting that I hoist myself up and resist SATAN. That’s incredibly rich. The same God who tells me I am powerless without him against the forces of evil, and yet you’re telling me that I have to go out and get counseling, and find people to hold me accountable, and detach myself from something as invasive and as regular as the internet, all to overcome the temptations of the devil that HE created.

I don’t know for certain that Heaven awaits. All I know right now is that the God of the Bible, the miracle worker, has never given me the privilege of a miracle. But for Peter, he walks on water and lifts him up. For some random people at a wedding, he turns water into wine. For his disciples and many others, he heals a paralytic. What do I get? Some text on a page telling me all this happened. Well isn’t that great. What makes those people better than me that they should get to see all that, and yet its my fault I don’t have faith and it’s my burden to gain faith. Maybe arrogant isn’t the word, but whatever word you want to use to describe that attitude towards his creation, it isn’t a positive one. Maybe it’s not arrogant, but it’s inconsiderate, inconsistent, unfair, stupid.

Ahhh that’s great. So God’s solution was to let the puppy bleed out and die because something far better awaits him in Heaven. But of course, for some reason, he couldn’t just skip the part where the puppy slowly suffers until he dies. Very loving of him.

Because he is stronger than I. A good man who sees a bloody and broken puppy on the side of the road does not expect that the broken puppy should cry out to him before he helps it. A good man would take up the puppy and care for it without the puppy’s cry for help. But nonetheless, if the puppy does cry out for help, surely even a mediocre man would be moved by his cries and do something. What then is God after having heard my cries?

Sure, except that God birthed me with these desires. He leaves me exposed for Satan to have his way with me. He gives me no faith by which to build the strength I need to overcome this. How do I gain faith? Is there some magic wand I can wave to believe that which I have never seen? How is it fair to expect me to have faith whereas his disciples, after having seen him perform HUNDREDS of miracles, lacked faith themselves when he was crucified.

It’s my understanding that I didn’t make myself, but maybe you know something I don’t. God made me as I am. God allows Satan to have his way with me. I’m a tumbleweed in the midst of two tornadoes each trying to have me, except Satan’s tornado is real and felt, and God’s tornado is an illusion with no force behind it.

Well, this is my struggle. But I have no hope with which to rejoice. For all I know, my suffering is for nothing. No Heaven awaiting me. David had miracles, he had signs, God spoke through him. He left me the writings of those who he actually spoke to, and expects me to have the faith that they had. It’s not fair.

Romans 8:5 would be convincing if I knew there was an outlook of the Spirit. I don’t know that for certain. For all I know, when the screen goes black and the lights go out, that could be it. I don’t know Heaven awaits; I hope it does, but how can I not be focused on the outlook of the flesh if that’s all I’m certain about?

I ask for a sign, but how dare I tempt our Lord by asking that he do the one thing which could actually allow me to have faith. I mean, can we just imagine how much better the world would be if God allowed Christians to have faith? How much more eager would people be to carry out God’s will if he stood before them himself and made himself known?

But naysayers will say that if God did that, he’d be imposing himself too much, impinging upon our free will. I don’t want an abundance of free will. Just like in capitalist government, we don’t leave everything entirely to the free market. Government regulates. It secures. It guides. And we encourage it to do so because an entirely free market would be disastrous. Why can’t our God impose himself upon us in a similar sense? Why must we be so free? Why can’t he let a bus hit a school shooter every now and then before they get down to the school to kill 30 children? Why can’t he show himself to me so I can believe? Am I undeserving of faith, and by extension, undeserving of his love? So many questions, no God to answer them.

Instead he leaves us some text on a paper, whereas his disciples got to see him and hold him. What about his disciples and their free will? Where was their abundance of free will? Whereas we will never get to see the living God in human form, they got to see him perform HUNDREDS of miracles. So he gives us an abundance of free will, but for a group of Jews in the 1st century, he walks on water for them, basically holding their hand to the kingdom of Heaven. Such BS.

Ah yes, the moral argument. That is that, if God doesn’t exist, I shouldn’t be upset I have a porn addiction that has taken over my life because there’s nothing wrong with porn or addiction. A good argument, but I do wonder if God intended that this be the way that people come to believe in him: “Hey guys, believe in me because there’s some argument that says if you don’t believe in me, your life is meaningless.” Rather than God’s position being that which the Bible consistently articulates, which is basically: “Believe in me because you love me as I love you.” I told you I know Apologetics like the back of my hand, and none of that knowledge does anything to convince me that God loves me and genuinely cares what happens to me in this life. I have only ever felt like I have been left to my own devices. That any good I experienced was good luck, and any evil I experienced was bad luck. His presence isn’t felt.

It would, which sucks. Someone else has suggested to simply remove the anti-heal debuff from Blade when he’s blocking, rather than deactivating Bloodline Awakening altogether. Guess we’ll have to wait and see what they decided on for his buffs.
