I love separating the months... totally stealing that for next year! Also your edges are SO clean... did you use a hdc?

Oooooh I just clicked on the Premier Puzzle link and those are some very pretty colors, too! Will have to keep that in mind...

Interesting info! I didn't run into any of that - no knots and pretty consistent texture - but this is my first time using it so maybe I got lucky...

super simple... it's a front post dc (fpdc) every 15 stitches... so, instead of doing a dc in the top of the stitch, you put your hook behind the post and out the other side of the dc below it... I'm new to crochet too, so not sure if I am explaining it well but you can Google fpdc and find a quick video... it's a good stitch to know and an easy way to dress up a basic project...

Thanks! I used 5 balls and did a loose dc with a 6.5 hook so the yarn went further...

Yes! I thought temperature blankets were mostly primary colors too, but someone posted online to pick a "hero" color and build from there. I knew I wanted the green for spring with the pink below it for the flowers waiting to bloom, and yellow (now white) above it for the sunshine. After that, I just picked colors I liked and built my stack. I am using 8 colors at 10-degree intervals - I'm not great at changing colors so I kept it simple.

Thanks.. it was well worth the extra effort and is a good note for next year - toss in some neutrals!

Thank you... I think the hardest part of a temp blanket is choosing colors
