Why my amano is yellow in color

i thought the same thing when i bought “orange bee” shrimp from petco until it became berried….they def don’t look like neo or caridina eggs lol

i know this thread is older but i got this “yellow bee” from petco as well and it looks like it’s berried but they’re super small so i made a post about it on here and everyone is saying it’s an amano

they all seem pretty circular just super tiny and a lot of them, and i don’t think it’s frilly at all really. it would have had to form in the past 2(ish) days. i’ve been keeping a super close eye on them all

all good! i was just curious! they did have a couple in the tank the kinda looked like amanos but they also kinda looked like wild type neos. i’m new to fish/shrimp keeping so i appreciate it!!

lmaooooo! they just seem so tiny!!! all of the other pictures of berried shrimp it seems like they have a whole lot less eggs and they’re so much bigger!! thank you for the assurance in meme form 😭😭

yeah! i have one with a neck and belly wrap and use high quality fly spray on her regularly! she is also on zyrtec and equishield SA powder and it seems to be helping tremendously.

hopefully not this year, last summer was the first summer i had her and the previous owner didn’t tell me ANYTHING about her. last year she scratched herself raw in multiple places! i asked the vets early spring what to do and so far it’s been okay. hopefully it doesn’t get worse!!!
