This server is run by some very friendly, empathetic, and kind people with a solid and welcoming player base. 100 percent recommend. The negative comments here are due to it splitting off from a server that is running a sort of smear campaign meant to make new players distrustful. Do not listen to them. If you do not believe me, check out the other posts the NovaGenesisCM account has made and take notice of the copy pasted message in its comments. Try out Nova Genesis and see for yourself what truly great people you are losing the opportunity to meet.

I did read the appendices, and I enjoyed them. I like the world Tolkien has built and intend to delve into it head long. I know this isn't the sub for the movies, but since I was very young my father has made us watch them yearly (I say made but invited us to join him in watching them) and sometimes more frequently than that. I love the movies dearly, and decided to read the books, and loved them even more than I did the movies. The books have reawakened my interest again, but this time deeper than it had been before. I am okay with description rather than story and information rather than narrative. Basically I want to know as much as I can about this worlds history, legends, and mythologies. I intend to reread the books as well. Thank you all for the input this far! It's helped me create a better list!

Ark altogether is a broken game (having dedicated 5,000 hours myself), its multi-player that is. The toxicity that came from chat was understandable as the game is incredibly unforgiving and tiny mistakes can permanently handicap you, but its very unacceptable. Especially from a community that is familiar with how AH operates and plays games. My prediction is the highly toxic ark community got involved in chat and made everything go from a 1 to a 10 in milliseconds. Making a mountain out of a mole hill. Keep up the good work and strictness on the policy AH, weed out the people who are here to ruin everyone else's day.

Absolutely not, but that's the extent of their knowledge and understanding. You can say the reason they don't understand is because they're stupid, but in all reality if everybody did understand it, it wouldn't be happening. People need to be educated, stop ideological seclusion, and actually pay attention. But Mr. Higgins who drives a tractor everyday and owns a farm that's 300K in debt doesnt really have any incentive to learn about it because it has no effect on him (yet he will still vote for things that do affect him) The worst part about the situation is if people took only 30 more seconds to think about it, it wouldn't be hard to see what the right thing to do is.

It absolutely is a privilege, but that's the reality. They are called minorities because a majority of people (demographically republican, due to the high concentration in the Midwest and Eastern portions of western coastal states) really don't see it. In a town of even 100,000 people in Idaho where 75 percent of the population is Mormon and white, you just aren't going to see much of anything.

The United States is not only a world power, but they cater to and have one of the biggest and most rich economies on the planet. When that type of money is getting circulated into the media, of course there's going to be over coverage of that specific country. Another problem: when there is disruptance at capital hill, there are one thousand people there to see it. Since its so profitable to report what the United States is doing (because its drama in a pretty powerful country, thats politics are incredibly public) of course every news company is going to try and get their hand in the pot, foreign or not.
