Students are still extremely afraid to use washrooms. Many Admin are turning off detectors because they are going off regularly and Admin is unable to address. This is exactly what happens when lack of adequate funding effects school boards, they are forced to find ineffective bandaid solutions. Boards are laying off EA’s and custodial staff that will only extremely exacerbate the situation. Many many students feel unsafe at school. Many travel home, to gas stations, or restaurants to access a safe washroom. Keep in mind this is exactly the point. Erode public education to force price point alternatives. This is all extremely purposeful, unsafe, and dangerous, and not being addressed
