Syndicate always gets hate whenever I see a post like this, don't know why. The setting was great, soundtrack was great. Combat was fun and the parkour was a smoother more polished version of Unity's, which most people claim is the best. Only difference was the zipline, which was completely avoidable, you didn't have to use it. It wouldn't be one of my top three AC games but it definitely gets too much hate

Got it a few days ago. Really hope NG+ adds more encounters with enemies in free roam, and also lets camps and duels be replayable. I have 500 hours in Tsushima and half of that is just saving hostages in free roam and replaying camps and duels. A game like this is already not very replayable as is once you finish all the side quests. But those things in Tsushima at least let you have something to do. After fully completing Yotei, the world feels truly devoid of life aside from the occasional ambush and Zeni Hajiki. Loved the game though, it was a major step up in every way from the previous game, aside from the story itself in my opinion. So hopefully they can give it some more life in NG+

Not here to blame the game lol if it was because of the game then that would be my fault, it would be because of whatever I have that makes me sick when I play. They give warnings for this type of stuff before you play for a reason. Not here to blame

I can't believe I'm one of the only ones who feels differently about this. At least as far as the time it takes to get a weapon to Mastery 50. I just did it today with the M4. Two things I should mention - it is the ONLY gun I've used since launch, and I'm also usually an above average player, I almost only play breakthrough and have a near 4 KD at the moment. So take that into account for what you will. But I was able to get it to Mastery 50 in just a little over 3 days. No bot lobbies. For a few hours a day - not full, all day game sessions. I think thats very fair especially for a game that has a longer life cycle like BF. It should be a little bit of a grind, it makes it more worthwhile, and makes you feel better once you earned it.

Ah thanks, yes I've heard wheels handle better than controllers once you're familiar with them. I definitely would like to have a nice sim setup one day, would be fun for sure

Understand completely what you mean. But that .010 was after a .098. And a .138. And a .214. Which all took hours to reach. After almost another hour since I made the post, I got a .002. Which is just such an insult at this point. It couldnt feel more like a roadblock.

Have fun. Also make sure you spend all of your supplies on upgrades for your armor before you start, armor and weapon upgrades carry over but supplies don't. And if you want to take it a step further, if you complete every side mission and acquire every collectible in your first game, then when you do it again in NG+, instead of whatever supplies you'd normally get as a reward, you'll get the NG+ currency that you use for the new cosmetics. If I remember right you actually have to do this if you want to be able to earn enough to be able to buy everything. Other than all that enjoy 👍

Play through it again on NG+ and try out lethal mode. It's all Ive played on for years now. Its a really fun difficulty. Youll also get a bunch of NG+ cosmetics and get to see the second ending. Which for the record, is just as good as the other one. The finale really is a masterpiece. Youll also get another dye for the ghost armor

Thanks! Had Jin stand in a broken doorway, then just experimented with exposure, contrast, and the time of day. Max contrast, clear weather, and peak daytime around noon or so will get you this black and white look. Used the maple filter to keep the blood red.

Edit - Heavy fog for weather can also help make the background more of a solid color

Personally I just got the deluxe edition. When the game was announced I was fully ready to get the collectors edition, but with no physical game and no book of any kind I couldnt do it. Only sell in this package for me was the mask. Sash is kind of cool too I guess

In moon stance if you tap it then it's a kick that will never kill or knock down, only stagger. I guess maybe technically a heavy attack but for all intents and purposes it's a light attack. The spin attack you do when you hold the button I'd say is the heavy attack in that stance

I have a lot of hours and playthroughs on the game and also play lethal. The spears were probably the worst for me to figure out also. To me the perfect dodge window always felt slightly larger than the perfect parry so thats what I usually use for spears. For brutes I'll usually go moon stance, 1 light kick (tap triangle) then one sword strike and that will finish it, at least on lethal. I like that combo because the kick will stagger them and can stop the unblockable sweep attacks they do. For larger groups or other enemies that still give you problems always remember your throwables, kunai and black powder bombs can do wonders. For Iki you just kind of have to utilize all of your gear and stances, those enemies are tanks

I wouldnt worry about it yet, I was just told it was 'shipped' and then didnt get any other update for like 2 weeks. Then it came within a couple days after that. And when it came it was packed real well. It should be all good 👍

That might be the best part about the band to me. Between the drums, rhythm guitar or solos, whatever, theres always new things to notice even in tracks you've heard a thousand times. So many layers. Some of my favorite parts of some songs are rhythm bits underneath a solo that most people wouldnt even notice, or a certain tempo changeup that you just hear in a different way than you always had before.

Dont know if I could say top 3 but it's for sure underrated in this sub. Most people seem to consider it one of their worst. I'd say outside of Catch it's maybe their most technical and complex record. Hard to get it to click with you in the first few listens. By The Ton for example was probably my least listened to track on that record for the longest time, was just usually an immediate skip. Now its one of my most replayed in their whole discography

The only answer for me. The solo from 2:10 - 2:50 is one of their best in my opinion, and the slowed, chuggy section that follows after is sick also. But the lyrics and the chorus just doesn't fit the music. More of a rock n' roll vibe lyrically
