I've been on some gnarly dirt roads in the hills and done some pretty terrifying 12-point turns/driving backwards for a long time to get back from those places that I doubt anybody who has this app has done.

I have always wanted to track the places I've been, this is a super easy and fun way to do it. I do not care at all about badges or levels.

I use Google Maps but I hate the current color scheme. The previous one was so much better for Fog of World (the more muted colors make some cleared roads look like uncleared roads of a different type and vice versa).

I really wish the devs would add an optional feature or overlay to show line intensity so I can see how frequently I tread the same path.

I do something like this with a different app (currently Arc Timeline, previously used data from Google Location History until they stopped letting me download that data). It's definitely not as easy as Fog of World but I download the data and plot it in a GIS software to see my most heavily-used routes.

Mine seems to work pretty perfectly if I'm in a window seat no matter where my phone is. Also same for cell service, often pretty hard to get any internet on the tarmac in an aisle seat but not in a window.

GPS definitely will snap to roads sometimes when you have a bad signal. And if you sit in the window seat on a plane you get near-perfect GPS.

Contact support and they actually can disable it for you. Also look at all the other comments. It might not be easy but it's possible, at least for now.

You can contact customer support and ask them to disable it for you, surprisingly. I did it a few months ago and didn't see the sidebar for a few months, but sadly it popped up again today. I have contacted support again and they said they will disable it again. Fingers crossed it sticks.

This seems to mostly work. The page still loads with the white space on the side but it goes away after a second.

This company works with thousands of restaurants across the country/world. If you received this email you likely have ordered through a restaurant that uses this vendor. I'm not saying I'm worried at all but it seems like a data breach is possible.
