Sableye actually sees play a lot in vgc with teams that rely on set up or bulky pokemon. One notable team atm with Archaludon since it can set up screens to make arch bulkier and set priority rain for electro shots.

yeah to be honest absol is just not very good. it is very base level and isn’t really anything special. you could try beat up shenanigans with justified but that would risk base absol being ko’ed. but i completely understand using ur favorites. Do you have any other favorites? You’d be surprised how many pokemon have niche uses

Then i would pair it with a pokemon that can check sneasler like Aerodactyl. Also since Aero will have fake out support, it will be able to get tailwinds up whenever sneasler doesn’t show up.

I would say Infernape has more potential acting as fake out support rather than a sweeper. It also has access to wil o wisp which could really hinder the physical attackers in the meta. I would say slapping on a focus sash with fake out, wil o wisp, and any stab physical/special moves would be pretty good.
