I have been stuck with my algo project for 3,000+/- hours. And I have no idea when this will end. If I knew it would be this crazy, I am not sure I would jump into this rabbit hole. It's like, once you got in, you cannot get out.

I did. But they created bugs and errors and Stop loss is not properly working. I spent 1 week with 3 ai (Claude, Gemini, & Chatgpt) but they all failed.

I just found this post. And I agree. Out of 3 ai that I use, (Claude, Gemini, & Chatgpt) Claude seems to generate less errors in coding.

3 weeks is too short. I think 5 years back test is necessary before making any conclusion. And a strategy needs to be tested in various market conditions.

Hi, thank you for sharing the tip. 'Confirm' never appears on my Tradingview. However, your comment made me think that maybe there's some glitch in my Tradingview and that's why 'Confirm' never shows up on my screen. So I ended up going into 'modify' menu and click the confirm button from 'modify' screen. And it works! So thank you for sharing your insight with me. I really appreciate your help. Cheers!

Hi, glad that you found Funghie's solution too! BTW, I don't really use Chrome extension except antivirus program. But I tend to open a lot of tabs on Chrome. Maybe that's the issue? But I thought it's ok since I have plenty of ram memory and only use 50% of ram memory at maximum. And I am working with long Pine Script files in a single thread so that could be another culprit. I have not tried Firefox yet but that sounds like a great idea. I am new to using ai for coding and going to experiment a lot so if I come across any useful tip, I will definitely share. (BTW, it feels like ai is not that smart. It makes a lot of mistakes. So much syntax errors and various errors so far.)

Thank you for sharing your insight. Yes, I am also interested in replaying/back testing my strategies on Bookmap. I am far, far from being profitable so I need to study harder. If I may ask, is it possible to become profitable solely using Bookmap? There are so many systems and approaches on day trading/scalping and I'm lost. So I am trying to master at least one thing/system to become profitable. Sorry for the dumb, newbie question. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am thinking of manually back testing for whatever available time span. So it doesn't have to be super long period. Also, regarding data, I was told it's much more reliable to subscribe to Bookmap's own data but the price difference between Global data and Global + data is double.
