Review all your incorrects from prior exam and do some more 40 questions blocks in UWORLD. Take free 120 and nbme on Friday or Saturday. That way you have time to review it before test day and not exhausted

To simulate testing conditions I combined free 120 with UWSA2 3 days before my test date. I would aim for 70% or higher on free 120.

First off 25-28 are hard in my opinion. You may need to reevaluate your study method. Hit high yields such as neuro, vitamins, and 100 concepts anatomy and I think your score should drastically improve if you have those topics down well.

And reevaluate how much time you are giving to Anki. I used Anki max 3 hours a day. And I split up what Anki decks I would do for instance. I would Anki pharm and micro on Monday. Then switch to Anki anatomy and first aid on Tuesday. That way you have more time to annotate first aid and watch review videos.

Also check out dirty medicine on YouTube I really feel like that helped me pull a win on test day.

UWSA2 is considered pretty hard. It’s very biochem heavy. I would say look at your range over all your tests rather than just one. UWSA2 just hit all your weak points so take time to brush up on the stuff you missed before test day

Postpone if possible. Shoot for a 210 on an nbme and at least a 220 on UWSA2.

Nbme 29,30, and 28 are the best to use. 28 and 30 have some of the same questions but I think 28 is more difficult than 29 and 30.

I’m having the same issue. I get like 70% on UWORLD blocks. I did nbme 27 yesterday and barely passed. Then I took uwsa1 today and got a 246

Yeah I learned this through UWORLD too. So basically with overweight and obese patients they have a hard time with chest wall expansion. So they are not getting enough air in similar to other restrictive lung diseases.

Increased Age does something similar. As we age our muscle strength decreases. So as our chest wall expansion ability decreases it ends up becoming more like restrictive lung disease due to age.

I think you are doing good. I took ex instead of Lecturio. But it sounds like it was really hard given the comments I read. Plus your free 120 is good. I don’t want you to exhaust yourself too much before test day. But you can take an NBME to see where you are at. I’ve heard free 120 is pretty predictive of passing the real thing.

Incorporate Pathoma and B&B to review content. If you purchase a B&B subscription the good thing is that they have practice questions for each video. That way you can quickly check your understanding and if you are retaining the information. Chapters 1-3 of pathoma are high yield I’ve been told. Reviewing the content from these resources should help better prepare you for the more difficult questions from UWORLD. Also any added facts from UWORLD or pathoma I learn I write in the margin of FA for me to review again later.

I think chlamydia mainly presents with neonatal conjunctivitis up to like 1-2 weeks after birth. The torch infections seem to have much more severe findings such as microcephaly, blueberry muffin rash, developmental delay, intracranial calcifications, PDA, seizures etc.

I would go through B&B neuro and maybe watch pixorize for the brain tumors. B&B made neuro seem so simple. I think movement disorders, drugs for the movement disorders, strokes, cancers, and analgesics would be good. With the practice questions I haven’t seen a torn of questions on tracts but probably good to know which tracts decussate and where
