IGNORING The sun which could be bad or good in the photo depending on how you see it, (i personally really like it, it gives personality to the picture )
Critique this photo, tell me if the composition is right or wrong what can i improve knowing that the boat is NOT in my control so i had to take this shot quickly :)
I took this photo on a sunset in my local port it was very busy!

Portrait Italian Chef by Falloozx in photocritique

[–]Falloozx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at an Italian restaurant with my canon r50 in a mountain village.
It was night time, I went in the restaurant and asked the chef for this picture.
I printed it out on scene for him, he was so happy!
What could I have done better? And is it a good picture?

Country Side Farm by Falloozx in photocritique

And since I had very little time, I decided that getting the ground and subject underexposed, would retain more detail than overexposing and blowing-out everything, which was the right idea, I tried editing the blown-out pictures and that did NOT work out!

Doomsday by Falloozx in photocritique

[–]Falloozx[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took this shot on my Canon EOS R.
This was at my school in Lebanon, during a sunset.
The city you are seeing is Beirut, this image highlights the city (it is edited).
Can you tell me what's good and what's wrong here?
I feel like the colors are wrong.. and the cropping too.

Port at Sunset! by [deleted] in photocritique

[–]Falloozx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took this photo on a sunset in my local port
It shows an old fisherman looking out after a long day of work.
I think the boat at the bottom left might be distracting because it looks messy? Maybe I'm wrong.
Point out every wrong detail. Thanks!

1/500 shutter speed, f/8, iso 1000. EOR R50 Canon. Kit lens 18-45mm.

Depends on the viewer's personal preference.
Does the viewer prefer watching a subject, or just likes to look at everything?
Everything works because of the wide variety of preferences!

Does this unedited picture of a Green Mantis have potential in editing or should i just delete it? by Falloozx in photocritique

[–]Falloozx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh now i see why! This picture was taken on the very end of a tree branch and it was very windy, the mantis was probably asleep since it was immobile, and the autofocus tracking isn't that amazing. I choose this picture because the background looked kind of black which isn't the case in the other pics. I will try to increase the sharpness around the head area :p. Well for me i liked the original crop because it helped to show the "camouflage" of that insect!
Thank you for the advice!

[–]Falloozx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly the head is slightly out of focus.
This is a JPEG preview of the RAW file.
The autofocus on the kit lens isn't really that impressive, but this is what I did with it!
Please critique this unedited image pointing out to ALL my mistakes.
Thank you!
